My name is Lychee and I live at sanctuary of Hope since 2018, they rescued me to safety after a man struck me in the head with a machete because I’ve been too playful and full of energy and he got very angry about me chasing his scooter. Since my attacker repeatedly threatened to kill me if he caught me in the village again, so it was sadly no longer safe for me to stay with my human who works all day and could not secure my safety.
In the beginning I really had a hard time adjusting to shelter life at first, with a few escapes back home! But after I’ve found so many friends, on 2 but also 4 legs, I have settled down and love all the attention and love I get from humans at the sanctuary.
The volunteers say: Lychee is a precious girl, who loves to be close to people and get lots of cuddles and kisses! For the first few days, she can nip at new people if they go too close to her food or stop giving her attention (such a diva). But don’t worry, she will soon be one of your favorites – she’s just too cute.
