They call me Ying. I was born at White Sand Beach Resort in 2018. The only girl of a litter of six. At four months old the resort staff caught all of us and dumped them me and my brothers at a Khmer camp.. Having spayed my mother and vaccinated us, Tina knew about us and had been feeding our little family for months. When she realized that we had disappeared she investigated, searched for us and found us at a Khmer camp. A tourist who stayed at the resort contacted Tina after recognizing us from one of her Facebook posts. She told Tina she had fallen in love with my brother Som and asked Tina’ for help adopting him. Tina took both of us in to get Som ready for his adoption. Very soon I am traveling to Europe myself and will meet my brother again.
The volunteers all love me, and here is what they say: Ying is a beautiful soul! She adores people and cuddles, and will happily curl up on the table to be close to the volunteers and get some extra pets. Ying also LOVES food, so it is important to put her down from the table if you’re eating (otherwise she’ll end up sneaking a few bites!).
